Here are the General entry requirement for OND & HND  you must know before you obtain the form…

Accountancy

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than 2 sittings including English Language, Mathematics and at least one of Economics, Commerce, Principles of Accounts/Book Keeping

b) Two other credits in any of Statistics, Government, Geography, History, BusinessMethods/Studies, Literature in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Language (Yoruba/ Hausa/Igbo/ French), Religious Studies (CRK/ IRK).

Business Administration

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than 2 sittings including English Language, Mathematics and at least one of Economics, Commerce

b) Two other credits in anyof Literature in English, Business Methods/Studies, History,
Statistics, Geography, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Financial
Account/Book Keeping, Language (Yoruba/ Hausa/Igbo/French)

Marketing

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than 2 sittings including English Language, Mathematics and at least one of Economics, Commerce

b) Two other credits in anyof Literature in English, Business Methods/Studies, History,
Statistics, Geography, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Financial
Account/Book Keeping, Language (Yoruba/ Hausa/Igbo/French)

Mass Communication

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings including
English Language and Mathematics.
b) Any three (3) other credits from any subject.
c) Only one Nigerian language (Yoruba/Igbo/ Hausa) and one foreign language (French etc)will be accepted .

Office Technology and Management

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting including English Language with, at least, pass in Mathematics.

b) Other credits from Typewriting, Shorthand, Office Practice, Commerce, Economics,
Principles of Accounts, Business Methods, Mathematics, History, Government, Commerce, Geography, Biology/Agric. Science, Physics, Chemistry, Language (Yoruba/Hausa/ Igbo/ French), Religious Studies (CRK/IRK).

Science Laboratory Technology

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at two sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting
including Mathematics with at least a pass in English Language.
b) Credits in two of the core science subjects and at least a pass in the third science course namely: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science.
c) Other credits from Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity/
Electronics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Language (Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa), English
Language.

Food Technology

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at two sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting
including Mathematics with at least a pass in English Language.
b) Credits in two of the core science subjects namely: Chemistry Biology/Agric. Science and a pass in Physics.
c) Other credits from the third subject; Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics and Food & Nutrition.

Hospitality Management

a) Credit passes in four (4) subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and one of Biology/Agric. Science /Health Science. At least a pass in
Mathematics.
b) Two (2) other credits from Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics /Statistics, Economics, Health Science, Food & Nutrition/Home Economics, Geography, Government and
French.

Pharmaceutical Technology

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two (2)
sittings or four (4) credits at one (1) sitting including Mathematics,
Chemistry, Biology and a pass in Physics and English Language.
b) One (1) other credit from any of Geography, Economics and Technical Drawing, English Language.

Computer Science

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings
including Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
b) Other credits from Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Biology/Agric. Science, Food and Nutrition and Further Mathematics.

Estate Management and Valuation

a) Credit passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and one credit from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science.
b) One (1) other credit from Geography, Government, Commerce, Fine Arts, Technical
Drawing, Statistics, Commerce, Fine Art, Principles of Account, Religious Knowledge
(CRK/IRK), Language (Yoruba/Hausa/ Igbo), Food & Nutrition, Statistics Literature-in-
English, Basic Surveying, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Metal Work, AgricScience.

Electrical/Electronics Engineering

a) Credit passes in Five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and at least pass in English Language.
b) Two (2) other credits from Fine Art, Metal Work, WoodWork, Technical Drawing, Auto Mechanics, Further Mathematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Biology, Joinery,
Carpentry,Bricklaying, or Concreting, Geography and Economics.

Computer Engineering

a) Credit passes in Five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and at least pass in English Language.b) Two (2) other credits from Fine Art, Metal Work, Wood Work, Technical Drawing, Auto Mechanics, Further Mathematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Biology, Geography and Economics.

Mechanical Engineering

a) Credit passes in Five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and at least pass in English Language.

b) Two (2) other credits from Biology/Agric. Science, Statistics, Fine Art, Metal Work, Wood Work, Technical Drawing, Auto Mechanics,Further Mathematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Biology, Geography and Economics.

Civil Engineering

a) Credit passes in Five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and at least pass in English Language.
b) Two (2) other credits from Fine Art, Metal Work, Wood Work, Technical Drawing,
Auto Mechanics, Further Mathematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Biology,

General Entry Requirements:

Applicant must:

1. Satisfy the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic entry requirements for each relevant National Diploma Programme;
a.) Pass at not below Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma Programmes from
accredited programmes/Institutions and have completed one year post National Diploma relevant work experience (evidence of industrial work experience is required).
b.) Candidate with a pass at ND level plus two (2) years post qualification cognate experience could be considered for admission.
2. Applicants who obtained their National Diploma (ND) from other Polytechnics with
Pre-ND as their entry qualification shall not be admitted. Post-qualification School Certificate ordinary level results are not admissible.
3. Candidates with National Diploma in Banking and Finance and Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS) Certificates are not qualified for admission into HND Accountancy Programme.
4. Applicants who obtained their National Diploma (ND) from other Polytechnics should request his/her former Institution to send transcripts of his academic record to the Registrar, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

NOTE:
1. Literature in Englishor Oral English are not acceptable as substitute for English Language for all programmes.
2. Further Mathematics or Statistics are not acceptable as substitute for Mathematics for all programmes.
3. SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE “O” level and NABTEB are the acceptable “O” Level certificates.
